-14 degrees, wind, by the sea and a full moon, cold but beautiful blue colors. Even though the aurora might appear to not be too powerful it is quite strong, the moonlight takes away a whole lot.
First off, this is my first critique, so give me some leeway if it's terrible.
Okay. Vision. This is an almost surreal point of view. It's got a magical quality going for it, and the amount of blue in this is quite calming.
The originality is amazing, and you must be brave to venture out in freezing, windy weather to get this shot. I couldn't have done that. And I haven't seen one shot that's incorporated stars as sharp, moonlight as bright, and aurora lights the perfect color in the moment.
But even though I've given 4 1/2 stars on technique, I have two suggestions. Personally, I would have angled the camera left a smidgen, to get a little more of the outcrop, and cropped the top a bit, because to my eye, there's a little too much extra space up there. But I want to compliment you on the line you've been able to draw with the land point, and the beautiful aurora lights reflecting it in the same direction in the sky.
Finally, the impact was very powerful. It honestly took my breath away, and made me want to go outside and raise my arms up to the sky. This is definitely going in my "Ultimate Favorites". Thanks for tuning in!
