Good color variations in the flowers and background provide for easily distinguishable features. The clarity and depth of field bring the focus to the flora in the foreground from left center to right. Brightness and contrast make the features of the composition easily distinguishable. The composition itself is a bit devoid in the upper and left, and the true focal point of the picture is a bit difficult to determine. The flowers to the right are magnificent and captured very well. The glare near the bottom of the photo is a bit distracting. Overall a sound technique, and a great subject.
I really like how the colors blur together, which makes it look like a beautiful painting. The use of light is stunning. It captures the true beauty of nature very well. Simply stunning! The simplisity makes it calming to look at and your eye follows the lines very well. This is definitly going to be added to my favorites!
I definitely love this! The colours make me feel warmer instantanously. The vertical lines on the right and the diagonal line dividing the picture make the composition perfect. It's quite different from what I'm used from you, and that makes it precious.
I really like this shot, showcasing the natural beauty in something I would have not noticed if someone poked me in the eye with it. I like how the focus seems to be on the red stems of these little guys rather than the gold ones surrounding it, making it stand even more out among the other various colors. Another great picture, though I'm sure I would say that to all your work.
This is nice. I like how you took a scene that would usually be passed over in favor of something bigger, like a flower or tree, and found the beauty in it. It's a little hard to tell what's where, because of what's in and out of focus, but it's a pretty picture.
well i am a fan of your aurora shots but this is also quite intresting. it seems you used ether a very big zoom or a reversed wide angle (hence the lightfrackles ) to get such a shallow depth. I personally would have loved if one of the moss pilars would have been in one sharp line with the other plant so you would have a counterpart to match. on the other hand here is sharp and contrast -- and there is fading blur ... now that i think of it. Anyways cool shot!
