This river has been my nemesis for quite a while, getting good images is very tricky due to the river flooded a few years ago and ripped away many of the trees and vegetation making a lot of areas quite uninteresting.
On top of that the water level is generally much lower than this, but some years the snow melts fast enough for the river to just have the right size, not too big so it would cover up such as this rock in the foreground, and not too small.
Now the river was pefect and with the midnight sun shining in and the warm skies everything came together quite nicely.

I like the original take on the classic river photography, usually people take photos from other side, so the river can be seen flowing towards them and here the photographer made it so as they "go with the flow" of the river.

The technical side has been handled pretty well (the motion effect of the river) although according to my own opinion, the sky, further part of forest and the mountains in the background are not lit well and do not create the atmosphere as they could.

Therefore the impact of the photography is not as emotional as it could be. I would say that this photo is technically on high level but because the light it misses the emotion it could create.
