Photography / Conceptual

First lightpainting photo ive done.

Used red and green Starburst sticks ( you light them and they burn with different colors ), 2x Led lights ( blue tinted ).
Several 30 seconds exposures stacked and combined in photoshop, detail extracted and sharpened.

Was a bit lucky as well to catch some northern lights in between the clouds.

Cleaned up some of the blown highlights before adding a slight vignette at the end.

Shot with Nikon D800, 14-24mm f/2.8, @ 14mm, f/5.6, iso 100 and iso 1600 for the background and sky.

*fixed the overpowering reds in the image.

This photograph is just beautiful. It is captivating to the eye and has colors that are new and innovative together. The movement of the piece is beautiful and the wise use of photo manipulation is clever.

I find, that though it is beautiful and has new colors, its lacking of something to push it. Yes the colors are new and unique but I find that there is always something else to make one's art special and more creative and unique than the last.

This photo is top of the standards for technique the picture is one smooth image and seemingly moves perfectly without awkward moments of blots of color. It is made with skill and technique.

This photograph is beautiful and a true work of art. This is something I could picture in an art gallery with five guys each with a different hat going on about the beauty of the piece. It is visually something you want to look at.

This is an absolutely stunning image. Even the small version shown in my Deviantwatch gallery caught my eye immediately. I initially thought it was all digital because of how vibrant it was.

I'm not very familiar with light painting, but it sounds like a pretty difficult method of art to perform. So I would consider this image impressive from a technical standpoint, and even more so since you haven't done a light painting before.

The colors are incredibly beautiful & cool looking. The green grass in front, the red magic pond, the mountains in the background, and the night sky all look amazing. The river(I'm assuming) between the pond & the mountains does a nice job of dividing the image into sections. I think this helps all the main aspects of the picture stand out.

I really can't think of anything I don't like about this image. Even the way everything is centered works out well, and that's something I'm picky about. I want to show it to more people & it's one of the best I've seen on the site.
