The riseby *Trichardsen

Had to get up the mountain in time to catch the orange/yellow moon rising, went up a bit ahead so I had time to shoot a short time-lapse before the rise of the moon.

This shot turned out way better than I had pictured it to be, I feel this is the best shot i have taken so far.

Shot with Nikon d800, 14-24mm f/2.8 @ 14mm, f 2.8, iso 3200, 15 seconds.

so, yeah.
my critiques suck, so i'm just gonna do my best

i almost thought this was a painting!!!

the colors are dark and mysterious, with a glimpse of light.

i've seen something similar to this but that was only once, so this is original in my eyes.

its amazing.
simply, amazing.

i seriously dont have much else to say but i'll try to keep going!!!

so, is that water or snow at the bottom?
it looks mostly like snow, but i could be wrong.

What can I say, it's an awesome landscape! Sometimes nature shows very beautiful sights, and this proves that. I like the way in which colours came out, they make the image even more beautiful. It definitely inspires coldness, if we consider the setting, but apart from this, well, the snow and the stars, together with the going down/rising sun are really magnificent. I find that vision is splendid, with a well-chosen point of view, and also that is a fully original photo. The picture shows an excellent technique and it gives a very good impact. That's why I promote this photograph with full marks. Great job!
