Photography is often a lonely hobby, but sometimes it would have been nice to have someone to walk with.

Shot during the 6+ mile walk up and across the mountain in chase of the aurora, the wind got me this time, so had to turn back before all the footsteps had been blown away.

I'm here on behalf of :iconselftaughtartist: because your piece was in the group's critique requested folder.

I really like this picture.
It has a strong visionary message - not only pointing at the local distance but at the future itself.
Everything in this piece is following the path the northern lights are showing. The snow structures are dragged to the vanishing point, as if there could be no other destination. The black trees bow towards it, almost being torn out from the ground by the attracting force. And the smooth clouds seem to be literally sucked in by the horizon.
And then there is the dark silhouette of the man - indetermined yet. Will he follow the destiny laid upon him? And will he be alone on his way?
No he won't. The whole world will follow. Just do the first step.

Very well done!

This deserves to be a logo from a Television show company. Really interesting, inspiring, and amazing at the same time thanks to the nights of this. It really looks like it is made with GIF because i saw it getting it darker and darker.

I normally think that this should made by the same guy who made the logo of Tom Lynch Studios which is a really nostalgic logo. So awesome at the same time when you see the jingle and the rest of the logos that made the television show including the channel logo which really inspires everybody. Seriously.

I mean, there are lots of shots from photographer or people under aurora- this one stands out for the nice foreground and of course the placement of Aurora and the guy!

yeah, most creative professions are quite lonely, and often it can be better so you can have free range to try out those ideas. :)

Oh it was pretty darn cool.
Its quite the walk up there, even though I had to turn back because of strong wind the aurora always makes things worth it. :)
