A picture of the docks where I live, it is quite the small place.
Was really nice colors working in the sky so decided to go for a 3 shot HDR.

I chose 3 because the sun was behind the mountains and didnt create that much range of values, and also because I didnt want to risk having cars streaking across the images.

Shot with Nikon D800, 14mm, Iso 100, 3 shots from -1 to +1.

Actually HDR's aren't really my thing, but this one's well done. I love the contrast between the warm colors of the sky and the colder feeling of the landscape.

I totally get why HDR is such a debated topic, its because of those highly overdone hdrs that just feel like you are getting a seizure looking at them.
HDR in its basics is meant to get more detail where the exposure is thrown off, like photographing in direct sunlight.
