It has been a while since I held a contest here on deviantArt and it is about time.
This time I want you guys to show me your absolute favourite place, it is not about the most amazing image or drawing, it is about the place itself.
It has to be somewhere you have physically been and you have to have a picture or a drawing of that place which you either already have on dA or you post it, under it you add why it is your favourite place.
Your favourite place is exactly that, it does not have to be a landscape, if your favourite place is a little shop in chinatown then that is what you should post.
The contest will run from now and to 1. of September at 23:59 Cet.
I will pick out the 5 places that I like the most (image/drawing + story), and put them to a vote where you guys get to decide which deserves to win.
1st place gets: 2000 Points (gets you halfway there to a year of Core membership)
2nd place gets: 800 Points
*As mentioned it is about what it means to you, not the quality, but I should also say that if it isn´t recognizable then it will be very hard to judge.
Several images/drawings from the same place is acceptible, but add the why under the first thumb/link (the one image/drawing you like the best).
