Lenticular clouds catching the last light of the setting sun.
If it was up to me, this should have lasted for days so I could just break out a chair, sit down and watch this, it was absolutely amazing.

Magnificent photo ! The pastel oranges and pinks are dashing against the cold blacks and blues. The clouds all look either super fluffy or silky smooth. This is an amasingly 'mesmerizing' shot you took.

The pattern reminds me of red canyon photos; it doesn't run straight across, to runs with bumps and curves seeming to swallow itself at some points.
I say, if you cover the top of the photo and only show the mountains and little of the sky // clouds, then slowly bring it up, there's a completely different, outside of expectation, scenery in its own at the top. Like a whole other planet coming into super close contact with ours, almost touching the mountain peaks.
